Siding Replacement
A siding replacement job is less expensive and less complex than a siding installation. It is a relatively simpler job that takes 2-3 days at most but will cost you a few thousand dollars depending on the kind of replacement siding that you choose. But consider this; you might have a home that has amazing interiors, but who’ll actually stop to come inside to check out your home if the exterior siding is damaged and worse for the wear? Your Columbus, OH area house siding says a lot especially if you’re planning to sell your home soon.
You have a number of choices when it comes to replacing the siding of your Columbus, Ohio area home. Each type of replacement siding has pros and cons unique to itself.. The simple facts are, wood is expensive and takes a lot of maintenance and is prone to warping and rot. Vinyl is low cost and needs little maintenance and insulates well, but does not look as good as wood. Steel replacement sidings are strong, but can be prone to denting and corrosion. Cement fiber replacement sidings are a cheap, but very durable alternative to wood.
Stucco replacement siding is also low maintenance, but the flip side is that it costs more, and is prone to damage from water. It can also get scratched very easily. Aluminum replacement siding has been all but replaced by other kinds of replacement siding. Wood replacement siding can give your home a very classy look, but is very expensive and high maintenance.
